Miniature Playscapes in the Home

I've been setting up these miniature nature playscapes for L these last few weeks using natural materials and felt. The one above I actually did as an "elf on the shelf" antic but it stayed long after Elfy's other tricks. The one below is the one he currently has set up in his room.
I love the imaginitive play that happens here. :)

  1. Oh I miss being a kid! Being the only girl cousin, I had my own collection of small cars and figurines. We would take Styrofoam from packages and dig tunnels our of them and some had unique shapes we used as houses, etc.
This reminded me of all those days. =0)

  2. This reminds me of when my kids were little- we had tree blocks and other hand crafted blocks that would become a zoo or wildlife area to our collection of animals that we would bring home from our zoo trips. So much fun, your pictures bring back good memories :)
