Pool Noodle Printing

Today we tried pool noodle printing. This is by far not my idea, and I can't credit anyone in particular because the idea is spreading like wildfire around blogworld. We had pool noodles left over from L's birthday party so I thought...hey why not.

Pretty Cool!

  3. Yesterday I found a chair pad made out of the same material as pool noodles but the shape is rectangular - time to cut it up for stamping! :)

  7. Great idea indeed. I also have that pool noodles but I did not thought of ways on how to utilize it further. I will try to do this so my son could be also inclined to art.

  8. I love the shape of the sponge when you use paint on it! I think it suits any paper material as a watermark, or a simple background! Thanks!

  9. Nice idea for someone that looks for a gift that is on the budget but wants to come up with an interesting and educational gift. This brings out the artistic side of the young ones.

  10. Now there's something we can do with the old pool noodles we have lying around the house. No more need to throw them away when I get to buy a newer set for the family pool, and the kids get to learn a little art along the way.

  11. A simple thing that can do wonder. You should also try to cut it from the sides to form other irregular shapes. That should make the design more exciting.
