Painting Over Hot Glue Gun Designs

This idea came about purely by accident as I was attempting to hot glue something onto cardboard but it didn't stick. I thought the glue gun swirls looked cool, so I started "drawing" designs on the cardboard. Rather than just throwing it away, I figured L could paint over the hot glue designs and perhaps it would look cool, or at least he'd like doing it...something a bit different.

Turns out, both were true!

He liked fingerpainting better than using a brush because he liked to feel the raised glue

After drying it looked like this

and then he did one more on regular white paper

A pretty neat activity to come about by accident
