Crushed Chalk Potions

Today we crushed chalk a few different ways to use in "potion" making!

First we used a mortar and pestle, which was neat and did the job, but we decided using a plastic bag and a softhead hammer was more fun, and more efficient!

We added some glitter of the same colors, and then the fun began!

Martini anyone? :)
I thought our plastic martini glasses (aren't we fancy?! lol) would be fun "potion" mixer glasses.

  1. Funnily enough, my fiancee stumbled on your blog, fell in love with it, and shared with me! We're totally amazed at your creativity and love that you're always outdoors and very "hands-on." It's sad that you just don't see that very much anymore... I'm saving these ideas like a madwoman so I can be a Super Mom like you one day ;)

  4. I have pestel and mortar envy - its lovely. What great colours your chalks are, I don't know why but mine always seem to be very pale. I love this activity and I'm pinning it to the kids co-op pinterest board
