would be nice to have some basic explanations of how you got all the bits together, what's needed, etc. as some of these are maybe not available in Australia... What is aquadoodle? what's in the squirt bottle? for animal spa - is that just shaving cream? for glow in the dark, what's inside the baloons? what's on the bottom of the bath? all these details would really help! I love your amazing blog! thank you! so much inspiration and ideas!!! want to try them all!
ReplyDeleteIf you click on each photo's title, you'll be taken to the direct link for the themed bath, which gives more detail about how I put each bath together. Hope you guys have a blast with your baths! Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteWill this dye plastic (fiber glass) tubs?

ReplyDeleteWow! You truly are amazing. I hope people tell you that all the time. Your children and community (meetup) are very lucky to have you. Hats off!
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome ideas! I recently started doing theme baths for my 2 YO son and he thinks they are the greatest! I love seeing the different ideas- and where you can find some of the items :)
ReplyDeleteI too try to make bath night fun and interesting. I loved your ideas. Tonight we did a polka-dot bath with great success. I shared our experience in my blog and linked your site. Thank you for the great pictures! www.create-with-kiddos.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE your ideas. My son is a HUGE angry birds fan. I want to do a themed bath for him but am just stuck creatively on it. I bought some foam sheets to cut out/draw the figures but beyond that I'm just not sure what to do. Do you have any ideas?
ReplyDeleteHey just a thought...I love doing themed baths but lately life has been so busy for us I have been trying to keep theme bath nights fun yet simple to reduce stress. For you...I have seen some cheap angry bird party decorations (like at Walmart). My son loves that game too by the way. You could buy those and hang them up all in the bathroom and tub area. Then you could let him use the cups to pour and play with in the water. If he has a slingshot you could also use blocks etc to set up your own version of stuff to knock down with his slingshot and a ball. Hmmm I will have to do this one myself. Thanks for the idea!
DeleteA great collection- hard to pick a favorite.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a collection! These all look like a lot of fun. I was looking at the bubble wrap one and i thought to bad there wasn't a way to put color in the bubbles so when they pop them the color bursts out, but then i thought why not use balloons! Fill them up with different colored water or bath paints and tape them to the walls and let them pop the balloons with their hands.I think any kid would love to pop the balloons and watch the colors mix an run down the walls. Can't wait to see what you come up with next. :)
ReplyDeleteMy Mail - You can get Aquadoodles from Big W and lots of places. Google it and find where to get them
