After constantly wishing there was an alternative to the expensive art classes and camps, I decided to start a local Children's Art Group, now with 30 members! We have some awesome little artists, enthusiastic parents, and we are having a BLAST focusing on process art and projects.
I called this art meetup The Great Playdough Playdate because I envisioned a ton of playdough and a ton of cool and exciting playdough "accessories." I told members to bring storebought or homemade playdough and some playdough "accessories."
I gave members this list of suggested materials to bring.
It was a great turnout and all the moms brought lots of cool playdough loot!
