RAINBOW PUDDLES!
I mixed powdered tempura paint and sugar together in spice shakers to make the "puddle paint." I did this to save a bit of money so I wouldn't have to use so much powder. You can also mix it with salt, flour, or cornstarch. I only used sugar because it was right next to me on the counter. If you do not have powdered tempura paint, you could also use crushed chalk, or even koolaid!
by then the sun was shining again and we went to making the puddles around our yard beautiful!
More Ways to Follow the Fun!
This is awesome!! And has inspired an idea in me.... as you often do. Once we do it, I will be sure to share it with you =D LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!
ReplyDeleteI just LOVE the colors! You rock lady! :D
ReplyDeleteSuper cool! I've never seen this before! I don't have any powdered paint but maybe we can try it with ground up chalk--we're getting lots of rain tomorrow so this is perfect!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely! That would be fun to do at the park, sure to put a smile on someone's face :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun idea! We made similar paint just recently with cornstarch and food coloring. I think the boys would love a dry paint they could shake on in the rain. Can't wait to try this one.
ReplyDeleteLove this idea!! Wish we would get some rain and could try this out. Keeping this in mind, love the colors. (Momma's Fun World)
ReplyDeleteNice one. We have tried drawing on post rain floor with wet chalk... Lots of left over too short to use chalk. We should try your idea
ReplyDeleteI love it! It's been POURING every afternoon this week (the nice HOT rain that you can play in), so this is perfect!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun idea! Thanks so much for sharing it at last week's For the Kids Friday link party at Sun Scholars! I'm featuring YOU at this week's party! Feel free to stop by a button to show off to your friends! :)Rachel
