I constantly scour the internet for my next road trip to a beautiful place. One such scouring lead me to the Parker-Hickman homestead which is said to be the oldest house along the Buffalo River. A few days later, I loaded up my family and off we went! The Parker-Hickman log house was built between 1847-1849. It's a beautiful setting and you are free to explore the homestead, indoors and out.
The Parker-Hickman homestead is in Erbie past the Erbie Campground @ Buffalo National River, Arkansas.
