Leaf Snowflakes and Leaf Confetti

Today L and I gathered beautiful fall leaves from our yard. The only thing I had in mind was getting the scissors out and letting L cut them however he wanted, which he did and LOVED!

Beside my scissors sat the hole punch and I instantly knew I HAD to make fall leaf confetti!!

and we made leaf "snowflakes" too.
L made snowflakes but then he cut them all to pieces so no pics to show of his lol.

but my favorite was the confetti. THE prettiest confetti EVER! Gotta find a project for it now!

OH, and just for fun I edited one of the pics with some rainbow filter
and it looked so neat I just had to share.

ahhhh...if only the trees in my yard had leaves like THIS!
:)

  1. Wow! That is SO beautiful! SO far we have done leaf rubbings and leaf collages, but we may have to borrow your leaf cutting idea too; my boys would love it.

  6. What a great idea for leaves! I've never thought to make confetti. Our leaves dry so fast but maybe I can find a few to try out. Thanks for sharing on It's Playtime.

  10. Love the confetti idea! I am getting married in the fall and this would be so neat on some of the tables. Much more interesting than the typical gold or silver wedding bells confetti that's out there. Thanks for sharing!

  11. How long did your leaf confetti last? I am also planning to do some for my wedding but have no idea if I can do it the week before, or whether I'll have to make it that morning... (stressful!) x
