The Children's Art Group Meetup 3: Shaving Cream Marbled Paper

 Shaving Cream Marbled Paper

After constantly wishing there was an alternative to the expensive art classes and camps, I decided to start a local Children's Art Group. With 30 members, some awesome little artists and enthusiastic parents, we are having a BLAST focusing on process art and projects.

We just had our 3rd meetup today. I have been holding meetups at local parks for now--getting in lots of messy projects and enjoying the outdoors before we are soon all held up inside due to winter weather. Today we did SHAVING CREAM MARBLED PAPER. I've done with with L before, and I knew with the messiness and fun of shaving cream and the beautiful results, the kids and parents would enjoy this. Despite our very windy day and art flying everywhere, we had a great time!

  1. This looks so fun. You are so brave to taken on these projects with all these kids. You do not seem to have any problem with making a super big mess, but maybe this tip will help someone a little more reluctant in the messy area! I did this with my preschool last week but I lined the pan with aluminum foil before adding the shaving cream and food coloring. When they were done, I picked up the foil and tossed in the trash. Clean up was a breeze.
